D. Kaizer - Arm Band Comp Ref by DigitalKaizer D. Kaizer - Arm Band Comp Ref by DigitalKaizer
This is an armband computer meant for my OC, for his left arm.

It is an Asgard-Ancient-Tau'ri hybrid computer.
It features all the usual tech of today as well as a DHD application for dialing Stargates. Features normal or Asgard (Kawhoosh-less) Dial.
Also Functions as a GDO, lifesigns detector, ATA Gene Modification* and whatever the hell else I decide it does.
Possibilities are endless.

*Will only work for KZR or pre-specified persons DNA.

Will probably move to scraps later on.

Cool design. I'm guessing you don't use the vortex free dial unless you have to in order to get a jaffa out of the buffer. But you should also include a button on the top from a jaffa gauntlet to activate ring transporters, or would that be a downloadable app for it? I'm guessing its more robust then it looks, most Ancient tech is. Those life signs detectors took some beatings and kept working. Maybe there should also be a kind of Keno control too because no doubt sooner or later they will think to let Rodney take a Comm. Stone and visit Destiny and dissect all that Ancient tech so we can start mass producing it back home. But between everything on the Atlantis computers and the Asgard's legacy left to us, something like this should be in the near future of the SGC. But one quick question, what are ICE and ECTO power levels? I have never heard those terms for power in any Stargate show. Shouldn't it just run on basic power like most other Ancient and Asgard devices? We don't know where it comes from but it's always there.

You have too much time and this just proves it conclusively to me.

Nice work on the tech though, however I recommend keeping in mind the ruggedness of the unit, as it looks now, it is a palmtop or hiptop unit on a strap and susceptible to easy damage.

The entire casing is metal. I basically stole Digimon Kaiser's arm band... things (which appear to be metal) and shoved some tech into it.

Refine the concept a little more and adapt the specific qualities to the needs of the character, then I'd say it's less worthy of the scrap files :)
